THIS report is a summary of numerous findings covering the domestic and international Pentecostal church life over the past two and a half years. This document is not written with the intention of being an exhaustive report.

The outcome of our research has clearly revealed that the dominant leadership within the Assemblies of God, largely within Australia, the United States and England, is currently leading the churches into an apostasy from the faith. By this we mean that they have been deceived doctrinally and morally by false brethren. Thus they have given heed to doctrines of demons and seducing spirits.

This report is addressed to the Officers of both the State and National Executives of the Assemblies of God in Australia and the Saints in general.

INTRODUCTION

What we have written above, and that which follows causes us great pain. In heartache and grief we as Genesis Family Church formally withdraw from the Assemblies of God. Additionally you will find attached to this letter my ministerial credentials as issued each year by the AOG. In obedience to the numerous exhortations of Scripture, we will have no part of your unfruitful works of darkness. With sorrow in our hearts, we have witnessed a flood of doctrinal error filled with unrighteous deception, issuing from your mouths, spilling out over the Brethren.

Our eyes have clearly perceived that many Brethren have been lead away by the error of these deceptions, and have thus unwittingly made themselves captives of the Satanic realm. All of this has taken place,

through and by, the hands of you, the Shepherds of the flock of God, who in like fashion to Aaron of old, have allowed Golden Calf Worship to arise in the congregation once more.

False fire of revivals has been ignited and directed into church life by your public endorsement. Because of your actions the church has been lowered unnecessarily into a season of testing. As previous church history reveals, this lowering of the church is called perilous times. The call of the Lord is consistently the same, only those who come out from under this unrighteous deception will escape this fearful judgement that is upon the church in our nation today. All too quickly, the darkness has come; many Saints sleep because they cannot endure sound doctrine; many are drunk; many are slain; many are filled with laughter; many say Lord! Lord! Yes, your persistent errors have caused the Saints to walk disorderly and wrath now awaits those who continue down this path to perdition.

Yet, in all your shortcomings we do not count you as an enemy. However, as a brother, we warn you of your growing error. We hope that by our withdrawing from fellowship with you, that you may be ashamed. We ask you to recognise the steady trend of other AOG churches that have also withdrawn from fellowship. The swelling ranks of former AOG churches should alert you to take stock that indeed "something is rotten in the state of Denmark".

WHERE TO FROM HERE?

At this point you may want to think our attitude towards you is severe and ungodly, but we know this is not the case. For even Claude Montef iore, a mosaic writer said that Jesus' attitude was contrary to His own commands when He publicly denounced the Scribes and Pharisees, who were then the current church leaders of His day. However, Montefiore's impressions of Jesus were wrong. Jesus "loved" them, although He withstood then publicly and spoke of the judgement they were under, both now and eternally unless they brought the sheep back to the Chief Shepherd.

Among your biggest omissions is that you have failed to cause the Saints to stand and overcome on their own. You have promoted an over dependence on ministries to solve their problems and counsel them. You have made the Brethren to look to man, rather than to God and His word, especially when it comes to discerning error or exercising wisdom and patience in the midst of trials and tribulations.

While the traditional churches have largely failed and are riddled with open sin (homosexuality, paedophilia and idolatry to mention but a few issues) the Assemblies of God are promulgating similar spiritual seeds, which have bewitched the untaught and unstable souls into obeying another gospel. Church historians rightly note that the traditional churches fell because the dominant leadership refused to listen to correction. Now you too, hastily follow these same downward steps. The result being, the Assemblies of God have an alarming and destructive lack of credible teaching in the Word and on prayer. Spiritual life (the kind that pleases the Father) is at a low ebb in the church. Instead of the true Word being expounded from the pulpit, the humanistic principles of unregenerate men (who outwardly have a form of Godliness, but inwardly are sensual, not having the Spirit) are taught and preached publicly by undiscerning, lazy shepherds. For their study purposes they open other books for inspiration, for out of the abundance of the heart so their mouths speak.

By your failing to arm the church with a working understanding of how to prevail against spiritual deceptions both from within and from without, you are now responsible for a multitude who are unable to fend for themselves. Because of you, this generation of believers walk without any idea of how to go about thinking or studying the Scriptures on their own. Additionally, they are unable to discern if what is being served, as food from the pulpit is poisonous or pure.

You have demonstrated much zeal to see an improvement in the church. But because you now lack circumcised ears to what the Spirit is saying to the churches, in your haste, you have become like the Apostle Paul before his conversion; you have become persecutors of Christ. You have demonstrated little desire to root out personal and corporate sin from the camps of the Saints. They look good on the outside, but inwardly they are a people who have not been restrained and thus rise up to play.

Not once have you publicly identified false Apostles, Prophets or Teachers, both domestically and internationally, and especially those who have arisen from within our ranks. Rather than expose them, you have developed a love for the presence of lying signs and wonders in your corporate gatherings. You encourage the sheep and lambs to walk by sight; to seek after feelings, spiritual experiences and vain imaginations all of which hold no validity as being Scriptural or acceptable to God.

You have consistently demonstrated no discernment or care when choosing visiting ministries to speak into the heart, mind and will of the church in Australia. You routinely open the gates to every wind of doctrine that is fanned by the flames of hell.

It is becoming increasingly clear to the multitudes of Saints who have received a love for the truth, that they will not bow their knee to this deception in the body. Please consider that Scripture testifies against this perversion in the body by saying with a clear voice, "you are not my people and 1 am not your God". Only our utter dependence on and obedience to the inspired Word of God can save us from being deceived and destroyed.

CONCLUSION

Come back to the Word and obey the voice of the Lord. For you have come to the Kingdom for this hour and this purpose. Do not go beyond what God has written with your ministry. If it is not in the Word you can't have it. More importantly, you shouldn't want it in your midst either.
