Dear Fellow-workers:

We have been very pleased to receive "VANGUARD" since its inception and found the articles most revealing and helpful. However, we feel we cannot let the comment on Page 30 of issue 8 ( Ed. note—issue 4 in OZ and NZ) September 1998 made by Neil Richardson pass by without our writing to you about it. In Para 13 of his article, he says in brackets: "I believe Morris Cerullo is almost single-handedly responsible for the restriction of religious freedoms in Israel. Since his money-grabbing leaflet drop, the KNESSET HAS PASSED LAWS in reaction, limiting an indigenous Christian's right to preach the Gospel to their lost Jewish brothers."

We would respectfully point out that such have not yet been passed—as the enclosed leaflet we received only this morning shows (sent by Messianic Jews who will be one of the main casualties if any such laws are passed). We have been actively involved in helping to prevent these proposed laws reaching the statute book since they were suggested.

We lived in Israel for nearly three years and as you will see by the yellow leaflet enclosed are still involved with helping people to understand about God's plan for Israel in these end times.

We realise, of course, that anyone, especially busy people, can make a mistake, but we felt we ought to try to set the record straight regarding this particular matter and trust that no offence has been caused by our
attempting to do this. We realise that there is so much concerning Israel and God's Word and unless one is involved at quite a deep level, it is easy to make such a mistake as this one.

We pray that you will continue to alert deep-thinking Christians to the deception which is so prevalent in the world today. Many thanks to the Editor and all the team who help to produce this material—we, and many others, appreciate what you're doing.
