The following article was too late for inclusion in our April 2000 CETF Volume 6.1 but because of its importance we are including it on our archivial Web Site along with the other Benny Hinn articles, until such time as we can include it in a regular CWM publication.
Attempts were made to send this article to Andrew Evans a former General Superindent of the AoG in Australia but as yet it does not appear to have been received by him.
It was during Andrew Evans' regime that Benny Hinn *1 and others like Rodney Howard Browne*1 were introduced to Australasia despite warnings that he had been given and had acknowledged. CWM believes that those colleagues who supported and promoted this deception should be held accountable.

1.. Nothing happens. If nothing happens then Heflin is a false prophet because she supposedly heard this prophecy from an "audible voice". If nothing happens then the Christian community should also come back to Ruth Heflin and ask her exactly what that "audible voice" was. This also would prove that Hinn follows and promotes false prophecy.

2.. A man appears on Hinn's show and claims to be Jesus Christ. Since those of us who actually follow the Word of God know that Jesus Christ will come back in one way and in one way only, He is not going to make that appearance in a Benny Hinn crusade. Therefore if a man does claim to be Christ on Hinn's show, he is an antichrist if not THE Antichrist.

"I'm gonna show you the power of God on young people, I know you may have seen this before, maybe you haven't - if you have, you'll get blessed all over again. I'm in Pheonix, Arizona this Thursday and Friday. What you're about to see is gonna happen there, so you in Pheonix make sure you show up for that crusade. Now, what you're gonna see happens usually at the last night at the end of the service for the young people. It's gonna be a powerful crusade, great, great things. Let me tell you something. The Holy Spirit has spoken, He told me He is about to show up. Oh, I gotta tell you this just before we go. I had a word of prophecy from Ruth Heflin, you know who Ruth Heflin is? Ruth prophesied over me back in the seventies. Everything she said has happened. She just sent me a word through my wife and said: The Lord spoke to her audibly and said, That He is going to appear physically in one of our crusades in the next few months. Yeah, She... I'm telling ya,.. she said, the Lord spoke to her audibly and said, tell Benny I'm going to appear physically on the platform in his meetings. Lord, do it in Pheonix, Arizona in the name of Jesus! And in Kenya too, Lord, please, Lord, in fact, do it in every crusade. In Jesus' name."

*2..."Third Wave" --'1st WAVE' was the Pentecostal Revival at turn of 20th Century; '2nd WAVE' the Charismatic RENEWAL and this current [2000] "funny stuff" the '3rd WAVE'. That's a simplistic explanation and the way I [PLP] perceive it.
