important notice

Dear brothers & sisters
Thank you for your support of CWM.
We trust our publications have been a blessing to you and have provided you with essential resources to help you and to enable you in ministering truth to others. We are encouraged and excited about the ever increasing demand for CETF and Vanguard worldwide over recent times, and shall gladly continue to send out both publications freely to all who want them.

We are now providing two ways to receive both CETF and Vanguard -- by post and now also on our website. This should enable us to save on our increasing costs of printing and postage, especially those being mailed overseas and enable us to do more to help third world countries.

Both CWM publications will be presented as a pdf file on our website, and we ask that if you have the ability to download off the internet, to please consider changing your hard print subscription over to the new internet subscription, as this will help in reducing our costs. You will be notified by email when each new publication is available to view, print and/or download at your leisure. You may choose to receive the publications by both methods -- post and internet download -- for a trial period in order to assess whether the electronic method is acceptable. If you find you are happy with the internet versions of Vanguard and CETF, you can let us know you've changed over by simply filling out your postal details and ticking the appropriate box on our mailout wrapper and returning it to us by post.

There is also an opportunity for those online to receive the new CWM Monthly Mailer (MM) and Prayer Fellowship Newsletter and updates which are internet only services that provide additional news, prayer points or articles of interest that are not published in our hardprint publications.

TO CHANGE OVER TO THE NEW INTERNET SUBSCRIPTION OR TO RECEIVE THE NEW MM OR PRAYER FELLOWSHIP LETTERS

Simply visit our website www.christian-witness.org/ where you can add your name to one or all of the above mailing lists.

For those wishing to stay on the hardprint mailing list to receive their magazines and do not want the MM or Prayer Letters, you need do nothing. We will continue to send them by post as usual. Thank you for taking the time to help us be good stewards and we thank you for your prayers and support.

God bless you

Philip Powell & Siam Bhayro

THE following figures are provided to give our readers an idea of the financial status of CWM. Each Statement of Account refers to a full 12 month period. As you will see, we are currently running at a loss of about £5,500 ($16,000) worldwide each year, which works out at approx £460 ($1,300) per month. As we have said in the past, we don't aim to make a profit, but to be prophetic ! CWM sends our publications freely to third world & Eastern European countries. We believe our stance on this is in stark contrast to those we oppose. We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have supported us over the past year for their generosity.

STOP PRESS STOP PRESS STOP PRESS

THE following statement was issued on May 24 just four days after we had provided Trask's counterpart in Britain with our proposed lead article. Could it be that Paul Weaver contacted Thomas Trask about the matter and provided him with a copy of Siam Bhayro's lead article in this CETF?

"It is unfortunate that a recent periodical has chosen to endeavour to put the AOG and its Gen. Super at odds with Tommy Tenney. We are not of an adversarial spirit, never have been, and have no desire to be.
We believe that the Lord is using Tommy Tenney and we would be desirous for God's blessing to continue to rest upon him. He is not of the same doctrinal persuasion that we are in AOG and it was upon that basis that we chose to remove his book from our bookstore here in Springfield. We have not asked any other bookstores, church or outlet, to remove his books. That is a decision each individual entity is responsible to make on its own. We regret that this has become an issue which has been viewed as divisive in the body of Christ. Again, our prayer is that God will continue to use our brother Tenney for the Kingdom of God's sake."

-Thomas E. Trask, Gen Super

May 24, 2001

Talk about a bob (dollar) both ways. This is typical of Pentecostal politicians among whom Mr Trask obviously shines brightly. We understand his re-election is due very soon. It shouldn't be overlooked that it was by Trask's arrangement that Benny Hinn, whose made so many false prophecies and whose perverse doctrines have led many astray, was admitted to AG in USA for a period. How can such men continue to lead God's people?
