SUMMARY:
Report by HELEN BAILEY New Zealand
THE time spent worshipping the Lord, hearing Gods Word, enjoying fellowship and lovely weather for all six days made for a fulfi lling and blessed time.
Approximately 100 people registered with extra day and evening visitors. The theme of the conference was:
To the Kingdom for such a time as this.
We commenced on Sunday at 7.30pm when Aeron Morgan led the meeting and Philip Powell brought the opening message to set the tone, Who knows whether we are come to the Kingdom for now?
Each day began with early morning prayer led by different brothers. There were two elective sessions each day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon consisting of 40 to 45 minutes talk plus 15 to 20 minutes questions and answers. The extremely interesting and informative range of subjects focused on
How to reach different groups of people for Christ:
Reaching Muslims for Christ (2 messages) by Fayek Iskander born in Egypt, now a Presbyterian Evangelist.
Reaching Jews for Christ (2 messages) by Sam Cope, a New Zealander with a keen interest in Israel.
Reaching Roman Catholics for Christ (2 messages) by Chris Pollard a former practising Roman Catholic who resides in Tasmania.
Reaching Mormons for Christ (1 message) by Edward Barclay, a keen apologist who has studied Mormonism. He resides in Brisbane.
Reaching Word of Faith adherents for Christ (1 message) by Brett Bigg also a Queenslander and former Word of Faith adherent who now exposes their heresies.
Even though the electives were advertised as optional every session was well attended. Each of us was deeply challenged to seek the Lord for opportunities to minister His love to those He has put us in contact with.
The Priority of the Kingdom was the theme of the Monday morning meeting when Aeron Morgan took us to Ezekiel chapter 44 and showed the distinction between outer court ministry to human need and inner court ministry to the Lord. We learned that the Major Prophets unveil the King, while the Minor Prophets unveil the Kingdom. If a choice has to be made, PRIORITY is to be placed on MINISTRY TO THE LORD.
The international speakers who shared during the week were:
Roger Winter-Smith, a pastor and litigating offi cer from Great Britain who spoke on I set before you an Open Door.
Mark Mullins a London barrister who spoke on What Manner of People Ought We to Be?
Bill Randles from USA who spoke on Walk in Love taken from 1 Corinthians chapter 13.
These speakers brought three messages each on their given subjects.
On Thursday night CWM held its fi rst Ministerial Credentialing meeting under the auspices of ICMAOceania, when Aeron Morgan spoke on Effective Servants of the Kingdom.
Philip Powell brought the charge to the four brothers newly ordained into the ministry at this meeting through the laying on of hands by the ministering brethren.
The present membership comprises 15 foundational members plus the advisor (Aeron Morgan) and one extra member who has joined since the inaugural AGM of the newly organized
International Christian Ministerial Association (ICMA-Oceania).

On the final morning after Bill Randles had spoken, Philip Powell concluded the conference with a time of ministry around the communion table. There was truly a sense of Gods presence at this meeting as well as throughout the entire six days of conference.
Each speaker gave a distinctive and challenging message, centred on Gods Word and how to apply these principles in everyday life.
We were reminded that we live in perilous times when we need to know the Lord and experience His presence in our lives like never before.
This conference was a time of getting to know people from not only many parts of Australia but also from New Zealand, Canada, UK and USA.
We were all greatly blessed and refreshed by the ministry we received.
